STEVENAGE – Things are heating up in the Stevenage Thursday 7 a side Netball league as week 11 comes to a close, marking a pivotal point in Division 2.
The week kicked off with a heated clash between the Court Crushers and Stevenage Rangers. The Rangers demonstrated a potent blend of audacious attacking and rigorous defence, outscoring the Crushers 19-11. The Rangers' triumph over the Crushers highlighted their never-dying sports spirit and their potential to climb to the upper echelons of the division.
Meanwhile, Stevenage Roses continued their stellar performance this season by trouncing the Red Devils with an astounding 31-12 scoreline. The Roses dominated the court, their sizzling performance making them the top scorers and undisputed leaders in Division 2. Their relentless attacking prowess left their opponents floundering as they netted goal after goal.
The Whispering Angels were unable to secure a win against the unstoppable Power Rangers who delivered an impressive 28-9 victory. The Rangers' swift footwork and precise shooting proved too much for the Angels to handle.
The week concluded with a nail-bitingly close game between the Misfits and Net Chicks. The Chicks narrowly edged out the Misfits, winning by a slender margin of 16-13. The thrilling match provided an excellent spectator spectacle, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
