Newport Thursday Social Netball - WEEK 6 ROUND UP

Newport Thursday Netball League: Week 6 Round-Up

In the very slightly competitive Newport Thursday Social Netball League, week 6 brought an entertaining  round of matches. This week saw impressive performances from all teams who all continue to improve and build their friendships on the court.

In the first game of the night, Hot Shots proved why they are leading the league as they faced off against Shooting Stars, scoring a convincing 13-7 victory. It was a great display from Hot Shots, with their attacking skills and determined defence proving too much for the Shooting Stars.

Next up, Wingland took on Net Ninja's. Despite the Ninja's best efforts to fight back, Wingland held their nerve to secure an 18-7 win. The team's outstanding performance exemplified their unity and cohesiveness, displaying a brilliant defence that left Net Ninja's struggling.

Highlighting individual performances, the most valued player of the week was Micha Brook from Hot Shots. Micha's exceptional skills and contribution on the court were instrumental in securing Hot Shots' win. She led the team with an outstanding performance that not only earned her the MVP title but also made her one of the top scorers in Division 1 for this week.

With players like Micha Brook setting the pace our Newport Thursday Social Netball League is proving to be an exciting spectacle for returning netball players. As we look forward to the next week's games, one thing is for sure, the fun is far from over.
