Newport Thursday Social Netball - Week 5 Round Up

The Newport Thursday Social Netball League continued its exciting action last night, marking the fifth week of this brilliantly season. The round of matches was highlighted by some great games, exceptional performances, and lots and lots of fun.

In a display of offensive dominance, Hot Shots registered a resounding 23-3 triumph over Net Ninja's. The victory showcased their tactical superiority and reinforced their position as a team to watch in the ongoing season. Hot Shot's most valuable player was, without a doubt, Arianne Warren, who consistently showed a high level of skill and teamwork on the court.

Arianne's exceptional performance was not only key to Hot Shot's victory but also earned her the well-deserved title of 'Most Valued Player' of the week. With agility, precision, and a keen competitive spirit, she proved instrumental in Hot Shots' resounding success and significantly contributed to the team's topping the division's score charts.

Meanwhile, in another tightly contested match, Shooting Stars edged out Wight Shots in a nail-biting finish, ending the game 14-12. The match was a testament to the high level of competition and the huge improvements being made by our players, most of whom returned to the sport only a few months ago. Both teams showcased their skill, determination, and just enough thirst for victory.

As we wrap up week 5, the Newport Thursday Netball League continues to serve up an exciting environment for sport every week. The teams in this league are setting the pace, displaying a high level of determination and sportsmanship that has kept everyone in playing in the league eager to return each week.
